You can always ask for being friends, but be aware that I mostly add people I've "met" before (Real Life or Online), mostly fandom related, and do already know this way, not just by reading their name. I have this since ... January? Not that long though. Just to keep in touch with a few friends and stuff. Even though it caused too much work, I miss my other blog ;-)
